In this space you can find the flavors of traditional cuisine and, according to them, “the best francesinhas in the Porto region.” This restaurant / seafood / barbecue / snack bar has a room with a capacity for 73 seats. In this space it is possible to hold events or group dinners for up to 20 people, with very appealing menus from € 12.50 per person. It has take-away service. Moreda owes its name to Manuel Francisco Moreda, a former councilor of the Oporto Chamber and member of the Porto Trade Association, who in 1860 opened a fig brandy distillery, which later evolved into the wider trade of wines and white drinks. Moreda has a huge variety of snacks made from shard cake such as nail and garlic shard cake. Noteworthy is the francesinha in Caco cake, a mix between the most typical Porto snack with one of the delights of Madeira. It offers economical lunchtime menus with meat and fish options including soup, bread, dessert and coffee. It is still a great place for group dinners.
