Here you will have comforting coffee and light, inexpensive culinary proposals for your lunch. You can choose from various dishes of traditional and Portuguese cuisine, with meat and fish options. At snack time, you can enjoy many of the establishment’s regular patrons and enjoy some of its delicious snacks, such as pastries, chips, bifanas and pizzas. It also has several breakfast menus.

The mythical Café Corcel, born in 1967 in the Pinheiro Manso area, has recently reopened with a new life. The space is more beautiful and luminous, modernised, but containing some traditional touches, and its shop window reflects this, where we find an exhibition with a lot of conventual sweets. This is the star of this space, the confectionery, and we are not talking about the conventional cakes, known to all pastries in Porto, but rather about conventual confectionery: egg chestnuts, egg cones, almond delights, Tentúgal pastries. There are also homemade pizzas, salads and carpaccios, if you want a light meal and a DJ at the weekend, to enjoy while drinking a cocktail.

CampAlegre – Compadre restaurant is located in the Campanhã area. As we enter this space we realize that we are in a familiar place with a warm atmosphere, ideal for eating and spending time in good company. Its menu privileges Portuguese cuisine, with a special focus on the Alentejo region, but also specializes in some African dishes. For example, you can find alentejana cod rice, with coriander and poached egg, lagareiro cod, coriander cation, angolan shrimp curry, old-fashioned duck rice, alentejana black pork ribs, or same chicken swag. Food can come from far away but the family atmosphere makes it there.
