Restaurante Esplanada do Molhe

Restaurant do Molhe has been in operation since 1988 and underwent a major structural refurbishment in 2015. It is situated on the seafront, on the extension of the Pérgula, a belle époque symbol in the western part of Porto. With a decoration linked to the sea, it is known for its cozy atmosphere, where the customer can enjoy their meals while enjoying a great view and smelling the sea air. There is a focus on sea-based dishes and traditional food with special emphasis on fish and seafood dishes, such as prawn monkfish rice, cataplanas, seafood parrillas or grouper. There are even meat dishes such as “picanha”, “tripas” (gut) or duck rice.

Its décor retains a classic style dating back to the 19th century and features details such as a balcony and a painting by Acácio Lino.
