Museu das Marionetas is an author museum, centered on the work of João Paulo Seara Cardoso (1956-2010), director and artistic director of the Porto Puppet Theater. Barbot was born in Porto in 1920, with a factory located in Santo Ildefonso, by the hands of Diogo Barbot. This led to a family-run company with a traditional image for which accuracy, safety and quality were key features.
