4 You Sapataria

The 4YOU shoe shop was born of vocation and will. When you enter this space you come across a bicycle which works, not only as a decorative element, but above all as an allusion and evocation to the profession of the owner’s grandfather. He was a shoemaker in a small inland Douro village and used the bicycle as a means of transport between his home and his workshop. The desire to create his own business and the liking of contact with the public led to the opening of this establishment, where you can find all kinds of footwear, as well as items of clothing, wallets, accessories and souvenirs from the city of Porto. Installed in the artistic area of the city, here you can find comfort and elegance for your feet at an affordable price.

Ara Sapataria

Ara is a German shoe brand founded in 1949 and present in 60 countries. It puts your customer satisfaction first by offering you a wide range of high quality shoes. In fact, Ara shoes are known for combining a high level of comfort, quality and functionality with design and style. It’s simultaneously modern but timeless and our collections aim to encompass various styles and combine with multiple accessories. All without forgetting the comfort and durability. In addition to our stores, Ara has a factory in Seia that employs about 400 people and produces 7,000 pairs of shoes daily.

Armazéns Moreira de Pinho have a history of over 70 years in the trade of Porto. Since they were founded by Manuel Resende Moreira de Pinho and Maria Regina Tavares Moreira de Pinho they have been a ready-to-wear, textile store and shoe store. Initially it owned only one establishment in Rua de Santa Teresa, later expanding its business to Rua 31 de Janeiro. Similarly, in the early days of activity, this shoe store sells only footwear. However, with the emergence of new needs and wants from its customers, the offer expanded to meet demand. Thus, this space also had portfolios for sale.

Casa Moreira emerged as a shop open to the public and a small workshop. It has grown and expanded and currently consists of two shops, a workshop area and a sawmill, which has 10 employees.
