Maria Laura is a small traditional smoke-producing company in the Trás-os-Montes area, particularly in the city of Mirandela. All its production is done in a traditional way, complying with all quality and food safety requirements. It also sells a selection of olive oil, honey and handicrafts from the Transmontana region, among other products of regional origin. The slogan “Tua ∙ Alma (da) ∙” Transmontana refers, in addition to the company's Transmontana soul, to its two stores: Maria Laura Tua in Mirandela and Maria Laura Almada at Rua do Almada 325, in Porto.
