The Padaria Oriental is a traditional bakery company founded in October 1927 and it is characterised by the baking of bread in a wood oven, which gives it a different texture and a unique flavour throughout the day. All the bakery products are made in the oven and, for that reason, its aim is to satisfy all those who taste its products. There is a deep respect for traditional recipes, making their creation process far from automatic, so as to preserve flavour and quality. Highlights include varied types of bread, such as bijou, paris, corner buns, water, seed, cornbread (with or without chorizo), bread with chorizo, baby toast, bran and long wheat crusty bread, various ‘regueifas’ (wheat bread, generally in a plaited shape), among many others.
