Carlos Sousa began his first steps as a tailor, in 1967, at the age of 12, with a master of art who had a small atelier in his village, Vila Meã. At the age of 14, Carlos Sousa ventured out and moved to Porto, where he worked in the best tailors shops of the time until he decided to open his own business. In 2004, he took that step and opened his shop with the name “Carlos Sousa Alfaiate”, adapting the concept to modern times, alienating the tailoring to the ready-made clothing, representing Italian brands with international recognition.
