Museu dos Presuntos – Foz

With a tradition of over 20 years, Museu dos Presuntos is already an emblematic restaurant in Porto. With a very comfortable and welcoming space and a very characteristic decoration, it is the ideal place to have some snacks with friends, accompanied by a refreshing sangria or a glass of wine. It also has a great diversity of meat and fish dishes as well as vegetarian dishes. Among other alternatives, we can highlight, for example, Posta à Museu, the Museu’s octopus or pataniscas d'Avó. It also offers delicious desserts, including the chocolate cake.

Guido’s Snack Bar is a cosy space, with a decor devoid of artifice, giving it the authenticity of a typical Portuguese snack bar. There are several versions of this typical Porto dish, especially Guido’s super special, with shrimp. There are also other offers on the menu, with meat dishes such as nails on bread or plate, veal chops, stuffed steaks, tuna salads, sea delicacies, among others, omelettes, dogs, hamburgers, baguettes, toasts, soups, snacks, such as woodpecker and sausage, wines and refreshments, and menus for adults and children.

There is cherry in Porto. One of the best known Portuguese liqueurs has a space in the city of Porto. Ginja in Porto sells liqueurs but its specialty is the Óbidos cherry. The cherry, or ginjinhas, is a liqueur obtained by macerating the cherry, very similar to cherry, extremely popular in Portugal, especially in Óbidos, Lisbon, Alcobaça and Algarve. It is a product whose maceration lasts at least one year and does not use artificial colors or preservatives. At Ginja in Porto you can taste, advising to taste in a glass of chocolate, but you can also buy bottles to offer or enrich your personal wine cellar.
